Immortal Mountain Tai Chi trains the most important life skills available to mankind. Our students learn precise control of mind and body through the exquisite movements in tai chi forms. With careful practice the student achieves an understanding of integrated, or whole body movement, which is the rare, sought after art, applicable to every aspect of life.

One day, a friend showed me tai chi moves. I was instantly captivated and wanted to learn more. My affinity took me on the fortuitous journey of finding a teacher with 30 years of martial arts study in China, with many thousands of hours in tai chi specifically. I have been studying with the best of the best for eight years.

At Immortal Mountain Tai Chi, we believe that the correct physical alignment, as well as the correct postures and movement lead to true insight and progress in people's lives. We train the body to be physically centered, which results in the mind being centered. This is the beginning point, from which startling discovery takes place.

Our classes are dynamic, beginning by learning tai chi specific warm-up exercises. Next we engage in a series of skill exercises, including five minutes of standing meditation. Finally we practice the taiji forms themselves. We teach the Wu form, the Fu form, the Chen sword form, and finally the (supreme) Hilu form.
